August 17 (Monday), will open at the National University of Colombia, the Chair of Rock Art and Heritage Recovery, issued by William Muñoz, a Ph.D. candidate in Archaeology at the University UTAD (Portugal).
-Day 18 (Tuesday), 11 am to 12 am and Thursdays, 4 to 6 pm, in Room 302 of the Department of Anthropology at the Universidad Nacional.
The research seminar Rock Art must be understood as an academic research for the recovery of historical heritage.
The work program aims to promote research at the University of an interdisciplinary way, ie, linking teachers and students from different disciplines with different work activities, to allow the description (documentation, registration and general area survey rock) study (geographical, historical and culturally); also reflect on their cultural meaning and make diagnoses, to conserve rock stations (Archaeometry, Biology and Physics).
In conclusion, each of the findings may be subject to the various disciplines in which the University is busy, focused on questions of anthropology, archeology and the recovery of the culture and heritage
